APPENDIX 1

REPERTOIRE FOR THE COMPETITION

Total duration of the First Round shall not exceed 25 min., of the Second -not more than 30 min. The performance order in the First and Second Rounds shall be decided by the contestant.

PIANO

J. S. Bach Preludes and Fugues from WTC or two three-part Inventions
P. Tchaikovsky One piece of the contestant's choice
One sonata by J. Haydn, W. A. Mozart or L. Beethoven
Two concert etudes


Round 2
P. Tchaikovsky One or more pieces
(total duration - not more than 15 min., not of the First Round repertory)
Romantic piece
One piece by the 20th century composer


Round 3
Concerto for piano and orchestra (at the contestant's choice)
