Conductor Yury Tkachenko is one of the most prominent representative of the new generation of the Russian young talented musicians. His concert appearances were broadcasted for more than 40 countries of Europe (EuroRadio - Radio Orpheus), and in Japan the audience not only attended the concerts, but also saw a video-clip specially maid by Fuji Company together with the Russian Symphony Company.

The conductor's CD, released by the German recording company "Sonoton", was sold worldwide. The Japanese theatre "Super Kabuki" made the production of "Shin Sangokuchi" a year ago, the music accompaniment for which was recorded by the gifted musician.

Yury Tkachenko got his music education at the Russian Music Academy (Moscow) in the orchestra conducting class of B. Demchenko, took classes with the famous conductors - Professor A.Katz, Yu. Simonov.

In the period from 1995 till 1996 Maestro Tkachenko was the assistant conductor of the Tchaikovsky Big Symphony Orchestra under direction of V. Fedoseev.

At present he is the conductor of the Russian Symphony Orchestra.

The musician is in good contact with the best Moscow and St. Petersburg orchestras, is the guest-conductor of the National Merited Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Ukraine.

The Russian and the foreign classics occupy the important place in the conductor's repertoire. In the meantime the musician includes music of the XX century and by the modern composers into his repertoire.

For the last nine years the musician is a professor at the State Moscow Culture and Art University.
